Mask invests $366M to aid Republicans
Elon Musk spent around $366 million to support the Republican Party in the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, making him one of the largest financial contributors to the campaign so far. Of this amount, more than $276 million was raised since July, including donations to Republican groups and his political action committees, with the aim of backing Republican candidates in critical races for control of Congress. Musk faces potential investigations from Democrats regarding his government contracts and his work at SpaceX, amid ongoing scrutiny of his extensive campaign financing.
