Manchester City Cleared of All Allegations
Manchester City successfully proved its innocence regarding all the financial accusations made against it. This followed an independent committee's ruling that convicted the club on charges related to financial violations and non-cooperation with investigations from the 2009-2010 season through 2017-2018. The club's defense focuses on affirming the legality of its sources of income, pointing out that the funds did not come from the club's owner in any illegal manner, and that the documents supporting this argument were not properly presented during the investigation. Additionally, the club calls for a re-examination of the case, considering that procedural errors occurred, including delays and the leaking of the results to the media before the official announcement. Manchester City bases its stance on a legal precedent set by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), which previously annulled penalties in similar disputes, and is confident in the success of its appeal. Meanwhile, the team continues its competitions in the English Premier League, reaffirming its commitment to winning titles despite the ongoing legal crisis.
