Houthi reports Saudi strike on oil facility
Saudi Arabia is facing increasing attacks from the Iran-backed Yemeni Houthi group, which has targeted vital facilities such as airports and oil sites. These attacks have resulted in the death and injury of hundreds of people and led to the temporary closure of King Khalid Airport until further notice, effective until October 17. In response, Saudi Arabia has intercepted and destroyed rockets launched by the group. Meanwhile, the coalition led by Saudi Arabia has issued orders to evacuate oil installations in Sanaa in a move preceding a targeted military operation. The attacks intensified over the past week, with the Houthis escalating their threats and launching assaults on Saudi territory, despite the ongoing military escalation by Saudi Arabia.
