Unfounded Report on Lebanon's US Ambassador
The article concerns a Lebanese lawyer's accusation against Lebanese Ambassador to Washington, Nada Moudaw, for allegedly violating the Israeli Boycott Law due to her contact with Israel's ambassador to congratulate him on the safety of his son after a hit-and-run incident in Israel. The Lebanese judiciary considers that the claim lacks legal grounds, and the relevant authorities are currently reviewing the decision to dismiss the case. On its part, the U.S. State Department expressed its strong disapproval of the military court opening an investigation against the ambassador, considering it politically motivated and aimed at targeting her for her diplomatic work. It called instead for accountability of Hezbollah members.
