Researchers reveal Israeli firm tracked millions via ads
Reports have revealed that the Israeli advertising company "Discover-Tech" used a widespread network of digital advertisements to track users around the world. Its daily ad volume exceeded ten million ads, affecting hundreds of millions of people. Studies showed that the company's ads appeared on more than 120,000 websites and 75,000 apps, with some of these ads being used to plant spyware, especially through the Israeli company "Candırio," which is listed on the U.S. blacklist. The company's activities also focused on sensitive networks such as the U.S. Department of Defense and the International Atomic Energy Agency. Reports confirm that these ads were used to gather information and track users, including within Palestinian territories, with evidence of spyware being used to compromise devices on Al Jazeera's network. This led to the banning of "Discover-Tech" by Google and other advertising associations due to multiple violations of their policies.
