Trump resolves Nidal Hassan execution broadcasting issue

President Donald Trump said that the execution by firing squad of Nidal Hasan, the perpetrator of the Fort Hood attack, will not be broadcast live, despite his previous announcement of plans to do so. This comes after discussions within the administration about widespread opposition to a live broadcast, as a survey showed that 80% of Americans oppose it. The execution is scheduled for December 3 at Fort Hood base, marking the first U.S. military firing squad execution since World War II.
