Yemen govt responds to Aden attack
A report states that the Yemeni government has issued a statement regarding the Houthi attack on Al-Maashiq Palace in Aden, which resulted in casualties and injuries. The statement confirms that the attack was carried out using missiles and drones and aims to hinder efforts to restore the authority of the Yemeni state. It emphasizes that this escalation reflects the Houthis' continued resort to violence and poses a threat to the security of Yemen and the region. The government called on the international community to adopt a decisive stance to confront these assaults. Additionally, the statement notes that targeting civilian facilities increases the risk of escalating the conflict, dismisses Houthi threats, and affirms the government's commitment to continue operations to regain control of institutions and establish the authority of the state.
