Israeli forces chase Ramallah attacker
An Israeli civilian was injured in a vehicular-ramming incident near Ramallah in the West Bank, prompting the Israeli army to pursue the suspect and set up checkpoints on the roads. The army clarified that initial investigations indicated that settlers from a settlement outpost attempted to intercept the Palestinian driver, resulting in a collision with a settler and the injury of the driver. The area has also experienced a significant escalation by Israel, including widespread attacks and arrests, in the ongoing escalation since the start of the Gaza War in October 2023.
