Saudi Expert: Key to Houthis Sanaa Fall
The article discusses the military developments in Yemen. Saudi military expert Major General Mohammed Al-Harbi mentioned that the coalition forces have entered a new phase of focused operations against the Houthis. These operations are primarily aimed at targeting Houthi capabilities in the mountainous regions, especially the highlands overlooking Sana'a, with the goal of weakening the group's supply lines and advancing toward the heart of Sana'a. He also emphasized that gaining control of the Al-Bayda highlands would lead to the fall of the Houthis in Sana'a, with ongoing strikes to achieve this objective. Additionally, he pointed out that these operations require precise intelligence support, while considering humanitarian concerns and protecting civilians, especially given the presence of many residents within Sana'a. The article explains that these campaigns come amid escalating military actions and difficult humanitarian conditions, with more than 200,000 people displaced since August.
