Morocco's new government sworn in
The Moroccan King, Mohammed VI, announced the appointment of Fatima Zohra Mansouri as Prime Minister to form Morocco's first-ever government led by a woman. This government will be part of a quadripartite coalition comprising four parties and will include 31 ministers, of which 7 are women. The King affirmed that the new government will work to implement a program that meets the aspirations of citizens and addresses current challenges, relying on a team from parties with closely aligned programs. This announcement comes after elections in which the "Authenticity and Modernity" Party topped the results with 97 seats, along with the distribution of seats among the participating parties and confirmation of the formation of the necessary parliamentary majority for government work.
