Settlers Attack Olive Harvesters in West Bank
The attack carried out by Israeli settlers against Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest season in the West Bank included gunfire, throwing stones at vehicles, threatening farmers to prevent them from collecting their crops, and stealing their belongings such as sheep. The area has witnessed an escalation in violations by the occupation, including direct assaults on Palestinians and their farms, with 1,401 violations documented in just one week, resulting in the martyrdom of one Palestinian and injuries to 86 others, as well as arrests and raids on Palestinian homes and properties. These assaults come amid increasing remarks by Israeli rabbis who justify stealing olive crops under the pretext of proving Jewish ownership of the land, amidst ongoing settler attacks on Palestinians and their lands during the olive season.
