Zamalek’s Nasser Mansi suspended after Rwanda match
Al Zamalek Club has decided to punish their forward Nasser Mansi after his celebration following the winning goal against Rwanda's Army in the CAF Champions League. He has been suspended from team training and referred for investigation until the conclusion of the inquiries after the team returns from Rwanda. Despite his apology and a hefty financial fine, a final decision regarding his return to training will be made only after the investigation results. Mansi scored the only goal of the match in the 90th minute, helping Zamalek secure a 1-0 victory in the first leg of the second qualifying round. The team is now preparing for the return match at Cairo Stadium on October 24.
