Hurricane Trudy Gains Strength Before Mexico Coast
The storm "Trudy" intensified before reaching the southwestern coast of Mexico, with winds reaching up to 155 kilometers per hour and rainfall projected to range between 10 and 20 centimeters, with a possibility of increasing to 30 centimeters. This raises the risk of floods and landslides, especially in areas with steep terrain. The hurricane may also generate powerful storm surges that could cause property damage, while the coast remains affected and lives are threatened due to the waves and opposing currents. The official classification of the hurricane is Category 2, and it is close to the coast with a possibility of strengthening further before beginning to weaken on Sunday.
