Israeli fires cut off Lebanese villages outside Yellow Line

The article addresses the escalating risks faced by residents of border villages in southern Lebanon due to ongoing Israeli shelling and military attacks. These actions threaten to isolate the villages and hinder residents' access to their agricultural lands and medical facilities. Israel employs tactics that rely on controlling through fire along main roads by targeting vehicles and conducting aerial surveillance, aiming to prevent residents from returning to their homes without outright occupation of the villages. As a result, some roads have become hazardous and isolated areas, with artillery shelling being used to promote policies of instability and obstruct civilian activities. The military escalations and Israeli plans reflect ongoing security challenges, as roads and border zones remain unsafe due to gunfire and potential dangers to civilians. Concerns persist about a return to isolation, which hampers civilian movement and threatens their safety.
