Champions League PSG updates on Nuno Mendes and Achraf injuries
Paris Saint-Germain faced a heavy blow ahead of their highly anticipated match against Barcelona in the Champions League, after Nuno Mendes and Magnus Akliouch sustained injuries during the Strasbourg match. The club's management announced that Mendes, who suffers from a muscle injury in his left thigh, will be sidelined for several weeks, preventing him from participating against Barcelona. His absence is considered a setback for coach Luis Enrique, particularly in the left-back position. As for Akliouch, who injured his ankle, his condition is still under medical assessment, and his availability for the match has not yet been determined. The game will see the top two teams face off after both drew in the first two matchdays, with each team currently having 6 points.
