France considers new curfews after riots
French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu stated that implementing a curfew in several areas of France has helped maintain order overnight, with the possibility of imposing an additional curfew on Tuesday evening depending on the situation. The areas where the curfew was enforced include Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Lille, Douwai, Watiniyya, and Dinen, with measures remaining in place until early morning hours. These efforts come in response to widespread protests that escalated into riots and looting, driven by rising living costs and issues within the education system. The demonstrations have involved store invasions, buildings being set on fire, and monuments being vandalized, with protests ongoing for a month.
