Israel Blocks Quneitra Road and Bulldozes Olive Lands
The Israeli forces continued their escalation in Quneitra Province in southern Syria, carrying out deadly attacks through tank incursions and the destruction of agricultural land, especially olive farms estimated to contain over one million trees across an area of 6,815 hectares, leading to significant losses for the farmers. Israel also bulldozed around 12,000 dunams of land and destroyed agricultural facilities, threatening their livelihoods and increasing environmental risks, including pollution and deterioration of water resources. In response, Syrian organizations called for peaceful national protests and regional and international actions, demanding the disclosure of the whereabouts of kidnapped residents from the area, and emphasizing that these attacks aim to impose a new military reality and depopulate the region.
