Ben Gvir Pushes Gaza Resident Evictions
The article focused on Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir's electoral campaign, which promotes the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. He posted AI-generated videos showing the destruction of the territory and calling for a voluntary evacuation plan spanning four years, with explicit phrases like "You have to be an idiot to stay in Gaza." Ben Gvir also used a satirical video depicting an elderly Palestinian asking for help to escape Gaza, then purportedly transporting the viewer to Paris. This sparked diplomatic reactions and criticism on social media, with some considering it an attempt to exploit Palestinian suffering politically in order to boost support among Israeli voters.
