Israeli airline halts Marrakech flights for security
Israeli airline Arkia has temporarily suspended ticket sales for its flights to Marrakech at the request of Israeli security authorities, without revealing the nature of the security concerns. The company explained that this decision comes in light of new security directives, leading to the suspension of flights until further notice. There has been a lack of official clarification regarding the security reasons and their role in the decision before the upcoming Israeli elections on October 27. The airline is exploring options to resume flights in coordination with its partners and continues to coordinate with the relevant authorities regarding the future of the route.
