US embassy accuses Canada of election sabotage
King Salman officially announces that the Kingdom will move towards developing its nuclear program peacefully, and that it will take steps to acquire nuclear capabilities if it receives guarantees and frameworks to ensure peace, without heading immediately toward nuclear weapons. He emphasized that this step comes to protect the country's security and regional stability, and is in line with safeguarding Saudi Arabia's rights to peaceful nuclear energy use, while fully committed to non-proliferation. This announcement comes amid rising regional tensions and Saudi Arabia's reaffirmation of its right to possess nuclear reactors for peaceful purposes with international guarantees, to ensure its security and achieve sustainable economic development.
