Fernandez Criticizes Carrick After United Loss
Manchester United faces a new crisis after suffering a heavy 4-1 defeat to Italian team Como in the Champions League, marking the seventh consecutive match in which the team has failed to secure a win. Player Bruno Fernandes publicly criticized coach Michael Carrick's tactics, pointing out that a poor start and an early goal conceded worsened the decline, with the team's performance being particularly poor when the ball was not in their possession, allowing Como to dominate easily. He also expressed that a lack of enough pressure and poor movement significantly affected performance, emphasizing the need for more courage and risk-taking under pressure to get out of this situation. This comes amidst criticism from other players directed at the club's management and the weak squad, along with admissions that overall performance has not met expectations, reflecting a serious crisis that calls for an immediate review of tactics and capabilities.
