Iraq rejects attacks on Saudi Arabia
The Iraqi Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein, condemned the recent terrorist attacks targeting areas in Saudi Arabia, affirming the Iraqi government's rejection of targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure, and its non-allowance of Iraqi territory to be used for any assaults against the Kingdom. This came during a phone call between him and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, during which they reviewed bilateral relations and joint cooperation to face regional challenges. Iraq emphasized its stance against using its territory for hostile acts against Saudi Arabia, while Saudi Arabia expressed support for Iraq’s efforts to reduce tension and promote regional dialogue.
