Russian strikes hit Kyiv and its surrounding area, as well as the Kherson region, on Friday night and Saturday morning, injuring 12 people—five in the capital and seven in Kherson. They damaged homes, facilities and the Northern Bridge, and caused power and water outages. Russia’s Defense Ministry said it had shot down 411 Ukrainian drones overnight and said its forces had targeted energy, military-industrial and transport sites in Kyiv and other areas. Russia, Ukraine and the United States are preparing to hold a round of talks in Abu Dhabi next Tuesday.
