UNRWA fires staff in Gaza over issue
The UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) announced the immediate termination of services for 70 of its employees in the Gaza Strip, aimed at reducing security risks and protecting refugees. This comes amid Israeli accusations of presence of Hamas members among its staff. Despite the agency's repeated requests for Israel to provide evidence supporting its claims, no response has been received so far. Meanwhile, Israel continues to accuse the agency of using its facilities for activities linked to militants. These measures have sparked controversy over UNRWA's stance regarding the allegations against it.
