Cyberattack disables key Iranian banks
Iranian media outlets have reported that several banks in Iran, such as Melli Bank, Tejarat Bank, and Export Development Bank, are experiencing disruptions and service outages via online banking, mobile banking, and ATMs. These issues have raised concerns about a possible cyberattack, which has not yet been officially confirmed. This situation comes amid ongoing economic tension and suffering caused by U.S. sanctions and regional military escalations, leading to economic chaos, rising inflation, and increased unemployment.
