Iranian embassy replies to Lebanese FM
The Iranian embassy in Beirut responded to Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rjaï's statements, describing his assessment of the Iranian people and regime as "suspect." It confirmed that all regions in Lebanon have been witnessing mass demonstrations in defense of the Iranian regime for more than a hundred days. This response comes amid a diplomatic crisis between the two countries, as the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon was withdrawn in March, while remaining in the country at the request of Hezbollah and Nabih Berri.
