Hamas Urges Action on Israel Violations
The Hamas Movement called on the international community to hold Israel accountable for escalating violations against Palestinian prisoners. It reported that the Israeli prison administration has imposed strict measures at Ofer Prison, including reducing visitation times with lawyers and installing surveillance cameras. The statement also highlighted the deteriorating health conditions of the prisoners and their exposure to severe violations such as torture and mistreatment, amid reports of hundreds of injuries and deaths inside the prisons. These measures come amid increasing tensions and Israel's focus on strict security policies, especially following Itamar Ben Gvir's appointment as the Israeli Minister of National Security.
