Trump marks 80th birthday with White House martial arts event

President Donald Trump celebrated his 80th birthday by hosting a mixed martial arts (UFC) tournament at the White House lawn as part of Independence Day celebrations for the United States. The event, dubbed "UFC Freedom 250," featured 14 fighters competing in seven bouts before an audience of over four thousand spectators. It included military and musical performances as well as fireworks celebrations. This occurred at a time when Trump is facing criticism over organizing the event amid international tensions and economic challenges, with supporters asserting that the event was purely a sporting occasion.
