Initial targeting of Beirut's southern suburbs

Israel targeted Hezbollah positions in the southern suburbs of Beirut in response to the party launching three drones at northern settlements. This came after Hezbollah fired upon Israeli territories, and the airstrikes resulted in explosions and smoke rising in the area. Additionally, the Israeli army reportedly targeted a senior Hezbollah commander involved in the group's communications systems, according to sources.
