The representative of the Global Resilience Fleet in Turkey announced the preparations for a new mission heading towards the Gaza Strip in the coming months, with broader international participation and more ships involved. The aim is to break the blockade and highlight the humanitarian situation in the area. These efforts come after Israeli attacks on fleet boats in the Mediterranean Sea, which carried international activists working to assist Palestinians. Many of those activists were detained despite their humanitarian intentions. Approximately 2.4 million Palestinians live in Gaza under difficult humanitarian conditions caused by the blockade and ongoing conflicts.
