Ford reports decline in US sales during second quarter

Ford Motor Company recorded a 10.3% year-over-year decline in its sales in the American market during the second quarter of 2026, totaling 549,200 vehicles. This was due to a drop in demand for electric cars (-40.7%) and an 11% decrease in "F-Series" truck sales resulting from aluminum supply issues. Despite the decline, the "F-Series" trucks remained the best-selling trucks in America, while other sectors experienced record-breaking performance. The company is optimistic about improved supply chains in the second half of the year.
