Yemen Mosques Empty Amid Houthi Damage
The Al-Hawariyah area in Taiz Governorate witnessed mass popular protests against the Houthi militias, as worshipers collectively left the mosque after the Houthis installed a preacher to deliver the Friday sermon. This reflects the community's rejection of the sectarian project proposed by the Houthis, which leads to the destruction of society and depopulation of villages and mosques.
