FIFA delays esports event in Saudi
FIFA and the Saudi Arabian Esports Federation announced the postponement of the 2026 World Championship finals, which were scheduled to take place in Jeddah from October 16 to 25. This decision was made in response to the attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, including the Riyadh airport attack that resulted in 12 deaths and over 300 injuries. These incidents are the latest in a series of bloody assaults in the kingdom.
