Israel detains US congressional candidate
The Israeli occupation forces detained U.S. Congress candidate Brad Lander and 90 other individuals while they were assisting Palestinians with olive harvesting in the West Bank, before releasing him later after holding him alongside rabbis, foreign volunteers, and Israelis. They also raided the area and targeted the outskirts of Abdeen town south of Syria, injuring Palestinians as a result of Israeli shelling, amid escalating tensions in the region.
