Sanaa IRGC Defiance
Iranian ambassador and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) representative to the Houthis, Ali Mohammad Rezaei, appeared in Sana’a during a visit to the shrines of Houthi leaders—a move that, according to the article, reflected Iran’s growing presence and ties with the group. His appearance came as fighting intensified on several Yemeni fronts, amid accusations that the IRGC was strengthening its security and military support for the Houthis. Rezaei has made at least nine documented public appearances since his appointment in August 2024 through October 30.
