Old Kahbub Video Misleads
A military source on the Kahboub front denied Houthi claims that they had taken control of the area’s mountains. The source said the footage circulating online included material altered using artificial intelligence, as well as old clips dating back to October 26, when a position was breached before the Southern Armed Forces regained control of the mountain range. The source added that Southern forces control both the Kahboub and Bab al-Mandab fronts, and that the Houthis had reposted the clips after their defeat over the past two days in an attempt to conceal their losses and boost the morale of their fighters.
