France partners with Egypt's National Bank to boost agriculture

The National Bank of Egypt has launched two financing agreements and a grant valued at approximately $63.2 million, in collaboration with the French Development Agency and the European Union, to support sustainable agriculture in Egypt. The program aims to finance small farmers, cooperative associations, and small businesses in the agricultural and food industries, enhance productivity and food security, and also support relevant companies and banks to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the agricultural sector's financing system.
