NYS sues for vaccine schedule return

New York Attorney General Letitia James joined a lawsuit with 15 other states challenging the federal government’s rollback of the childhood vaccine schedule. The lawsuit aims to restore recommendations for seven vaccines, including hepatitis B, flu, RSV, and meningitis, which were reduced or withdrawn under the Biden administration. The legal action also contests the firing of the CDC immunization committee and seeks to declare the new schedule illegal.
