Tehran cautions on political nihilism and WMD misuse

The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Baqayi, warned of the danger posed by geopolitical threats associated with the deployment of nuclear weapons by regimes that adopt "political nihilism." He explained that the current situation is characterized by the dominance of systems that consider human suffering to be worthless, while possessing enormous arsenals of weapons of mass destruction—an issue far more dangerous than traditional political statements. He emphasized that neglecting existential consequences and turning them into tools for political weaponization endangers regional security, warning of the escalation of hostility and complacency in facing these risks that threaten global peace.
