Iraq Unveils 2030 Development Plan

The Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities has launched a developmental plan extending until 2030, which includes 60 projects divided into sectors such as housing, roads, bridges, water, sanitation, and municipalities. The goal is to enhance services and infrastructure across Iraq. The plan features short-term, medium-term, and long-term projects to ensure that work is distributed according to strategic priorities. Among these projects, 14 out of 23 have been completed in a section dedicated to addressing traffic congestion in Baghdad, with ongoing work on several bridges and vital connectivity projects, all aimed at improving traffic flow and the transportation infrastructure in the capital.
