Lebanese Foreign Ministry: Raji and Iraqy Held Open Talk

The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that its Minister, Yusuf Raji, held a "frank discussion" with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, on the sidelines of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation meetings in Baghdad. The meeting addressed ways to resolve disagreements between the two countries and discussed developments in bilateral relations, amid diplomatic tensions since Lebanon's decision in March to withdraw its accreditation of the Iranian ambassador, while Tehran has attempted to keep the ambassador's work ongoing despite the crisis.
