Karky urges employers to submit 2025 declaration

The Public Relations Directorate of the National Social Security Fund emphasized the importance for employers to submit the annual numeric declaration for 2025 before the deadline of June 30, 2026. This is to avoid the immediate imposition of financial fines for delays beyond the deadline. The fines for institutions that pay their contributions monthly amount to 6.9 million Lebanese Lira, while for others the fine is 2.76 million Lira monthly, with the possibility of increasing the penalty monthly if the delay exceeds three months, reaching a maximum of 69 million Lira. The General Director, Dr. Muhammad Karky, called on employers to expedite the submission of declarations to prevent fines from accumulating and to enable the fund to prepare for the transition to a retirement and social protection system.
