England's versatile player to miss two months due to injury
Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has sustained a thigh injury that will sideline him for approximately 6 to 8 weeks, preventing him from participating with the England national team in upcoming matches, including the encounter with the Czech Republic. Scott, 23 years old, is considered one of the most promising talents, having delivered a remarkable performance in his first starting appearance for the national team, where he played 70 minutes in the 7-0 victory over Croatia. England coach Thomas Tuchel highly praised his performance. Additionally, the team management has decided to exclude Ezri Konsa as a precaution due to an injury he is suffering from. In the upcoming period, Bournemouth will face nine matches across the Europa League, the Premier League, and the Carabao Cup, amid expectations that Scott will be out for a long period to support his team in these fixtures.
