Tunisia marks International Day for Older Persons

Today, Tunisia is celebrating International Senior Citizens Day, with the Ministry of Women, Family, Childhood, and the Elderly organizing activities and events to highlight the care of the elderly. Efforts include providing health and social services through mobile teams covering 19 governorates, serving more than 4,550 seniors. Additionally, family placement programs ensure the care of 487 seniors with a fixed monthly stipend of 350 Tunisian dinars for the designated family.
