Bourguiba House: IDB Team Visits Steel Plant
A delegation from the Islamic Development Bank visited the steel factory in Menzel Bourguiba. Until now, the focus has been on assessing the available capabilities and technologies at the factory in preparation for presenting the financing project. The project involves establishing an electric steel plant with an annual production capacity of up to 300,000 tons. The financing proposal is expected to be submitted to the bank's board of directors for final approval, with funding guaranteed through a loan supported by the Tunisian government. This step is part of efforts to develop the industrial sector in the region and to strengthen local investments.
