Trump urges Ukraine elections Will Zelensky stay on?

The article discusses former U.S. President Donald Trump's call for a presidential election in Ukraine, with hints that he is encouraging a change in the current leadership, Zelensky, due to his perceived ineffectiveness in ending the war with Russia. Trump pointed out that Zelensky has not made enough effort to stop the conflict and suggested selecting a new leader capable of reaching an agreement. However, experts emphasize that holding elections amid ongoing war and Russia's occupation of Ukrainian territories is currently impossible. These statements are seen as serving political interests within the United States and possibly involve a secret deal with Russia. The article also highlights the strained relations between Trump and Zelensky, which are interpreted as stemming from Trump's desire to end the war, even if that means making significant concessions from Kyiv, while maintaining good relations with Putin and secret understandings with Moscow.
