Emine Erdoğan on Girls' Day: Focus on Education
On the occasion of International Girls' Day, Amine Erdogan, the wife of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, emphasized the importance of supporting girls' education and empowering them to develop their talents and ensure their active participation in all areas of life. She stressed that a girl's success is not just a joy for the present, but a benefit that contributes to shaping Turkey's future. It is worth noting that the United Nations adopted 2011 as the International Day of the Girl, which has been celebrated annually since 2012, with the aim of promoting girls' rights and facilitating their access to education, health, protection, and participation in decision-making.
