Zelensky Blames Russia for Energy Attacks

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of targeting energy facilities in Kyiv and Kharkiv following the U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement of a ceasefire agreement between Kyiv and Moscow in the energy sector. He clarified that Russian strikes hit a power plant in Kyiv and other facilities in Kharkiv, despite Trump's statement regarding the ceasefire, although Trump claimed he was not previously aware of it. Trump linked Kyiv's approval of the truce to Moscow's consent. The ceasefire announced by Trump includes an immediate halt to fire in the Russo-Ukrainian war's energy sector, calling on both sides to adhere to and not violate it.
