Four Syrians and a Lebanese linked to Baniyas kidnapping

Lebanese investigations have revealed that the arrest of the former Syrian officer Ali Kaily, commonly known as "Pineas Butcher," involved the participation of four Syrians and one Lebanese in kidnapping him from his home in the Mansouriyeh area in Mount Lebanon and transporting him to Syria. Evidence showed they caught him inside his house and traveled along the coastal road from Jounieh through Tripoli to the border crossing in Akkar. Investigations are ongoing to understand the details of this complex operation.
