Occupation destroys Palestinian groom's home after wedding

The Israeli occupation forces raided the home of Palestinian young man Bassam Abu Qaia just seven days after his wedding in Azza Shofa, south of Tulkarm. They destroyed his furniture and belongings, including electrical appliances and household equipment. They also tampered with the contents of the farm where the family relies on for livestock. The raid took place in the middle of the night, during which the groom's father was forced to stay downstairs under threat of a weapon. Widespread destruction was carried out on the house, including the new apartment and the livestock farm. Despite the significant material losses, the father considered what his family endured to be less than what other Palestinian families suffer—losing their homes and loved ones due to occupation and ongoing incursions.
